"Front Garden" by Vicci Reisert

Vicci Reisert, a new Art and Antique gallery member, is a retired registered nurse, specializing 28 years in Emergency/Trauma resuscitation at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She retired from the nursing profession in 2004 and began her art journey in 2005.
Her still life paintings are watercolor with at times a mixed media of pencil. She prefers to paint for relaxation and experiences great pleasure (Thus “Soothing Strokes”) painting landscapes, and abstract. Her paintings are framed with unique taste and are often described as “Charming and Colorful”. Vicci welcomes the opportunity to display her works and looks forward to her first exhibit at the Gallery. Painting has given Vicci the mental release and relaxation needed away from her vocation. “It gives me energy and takes me away” Vicci stated.”
Vicci’s paintings have financially benefited charities such as the Broward Partnership for the Homeless and The Freedom Foundation.
Vicci is a member of the Broward County Watercolor Society. She paints in her home studio in Indialantic, FL. The newest member of Art & Antique Studio continues to care for patients as a nurse for Vitas Hospice Care.

Calling All Artists
Monthly Show of 8x8 Canvas Art

Art and Antique Studio and Gallery is seeking artists to participate in their on-going monthly show beginning June, 2010. Each show will run from the first of the month until the end of the month in our Gallery, located at 1419 Highland Avenue, Melbourne, FL and will be shown on our website for a period of three (3) months (i.e. June, July, and August). Subject and styles are open to the artists’ choice. Artwork should be suitable for family viewing. There is no deadline.
