How to create a watercolor painting on canvas:

To develop a watercolor on our canvas, you will need the following:
Absorbent Ground (White), distributed by Golden
Krylon UV-Resistant Clear Acrylic Coating

Mix one part Absorbent Ground with two parts clean water. Stir well and apply three or four thin coats to the entire surface area of the canvas. Allow to dry thoroughly between coats.

Paint the canvas with your favorite watercolors, using your preferred methods. Allow to dry thoroughly.

Coat the finished painting with the Clear Acrylic Coating per directions on container. Allow to dry thoroughly.
The canvas is now ready to return to the gallery for our Art of Eights Exhibition.
